The history of UNICEF
After World War II, European children face food crisis and disease. UNICEF was created in December 1946 by the United Nations to provide food, clothing and health care to them. UNICEF is the driving force that helps build a world where the rights of every child are realized. They have the global authority to influence decision makers and the variety of partners at grassroots level to turn the most innovative ideas into reality. That makes them unique among world organizations, and unique among those working with the young. In the aftermath of World War II. After the food and medical crisis of the late 1940s passed, UNICEF continued its role as a relief organization for the children of troubled nations and during the 1970’s grew into a vocal advocate of children's rights. During the 1980s, UNICEF assisted the U.N. commission on human rights in the drafting of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. After its introduction to the U.N. General Assembly in 1989, the Convention on the Rights of the Child became the most widely ratified human rights treaty in history, and UNICEF played a key role in ensuring its enforcement. This organisation helps children and families form starving to death and sponsoring wealth to help this poor innocent children and families with no food, wealth or leaving. UNICEF is a helpful global organisation which is trying to stop reducing global inequalities.
