Proposal the end Homelessness in Americca

The United States has been battling homelessness for over decades, so why hasn't it come to an end? Because in order for a battle to be won, you have to fight for it until the problem is solved. But the U.S. felt that they lost the fight and stopped the willpower to go on. The flame went out, they put the problem at the bottom of the stack, and let the problem fade away; like many others. But now the problem has come to an all time high- Every year 3.5 million people are homeless; out of that number, 1.6 million are teens. If that isn't high enough for people to see that things need to change, or it's only going to get worse, than I seriously don't know how far high people plan for it to get til' they do something about it. I urge you to make a difference!

Homlessnessness is not a cause of one set thing. There are many reasons people become homeless; it could be because of domestic violence, a mental illness, substance abuse, or even simply the loss of a job (Kenney, 5). For teens it can be those same reasons, or also because they had to leave there foster home because of a bad housing situation, or they were emanicpated from foster care. The reality is anyone- each and every one of us, can become homeless in any moment in our life. Many people don't want to think about it, or they might say, "It won't happen to me." But in the real world, we do not know what turn our life will take each day, so "It won't happen to me," is a false statement. Lets open everyones eyes, so they can see there surroundings to show them whats really going on!

This problem can't be solved by just one solution but rather many, because it's to extensive of a problem. Think of ways that could work to end the problem of homelessness; no idea is wrong. We are all individuals with our own ideas, and thoughts. So why not put them to work? It would be a terrible tragedy if your great idea was never acted on, and it might have made an impact.
